caranthir: @Kicyfroth Thanks for your proposal (F19H18B18 etc.) :) The issue I have with the sequence is that the opponent plays to a bad direction and just makes themselves overconcentrated (the K17 stone becoming superfluous). In the currect version, opponent shape is as good as it gets from the exchanges and the only suboptimal move is the final C18 (which can be seen as being there for "demonstration purposes"). So I'd say let's keep the problem as is and not add an alternative response. But the proposal was still interesting because it pointed to a discussion of shape and efficiency. -------- Btw if in your sequence the opponent plays A16 instead of B16, we should take the free ko with B16 and this is very bad for them.
