GoAlphons: Also here (this will be the last time I mention this :P). Its not endgame at all. It would be better if the rest of the board was filled, this just ingrains bad habits and believes about what to play in a situation like this.
caranthir: I think personally that it would be a bit cumbersome to have all the engame problems (especially those that teach tesuji) as whole board problems. And the same thing would have to apply to life&death problems too, because point-wise they are often very small. It's not too hard to learn to see problems about local stuff just for what they are, problems about local stuff.
