T4, S4, S5, T5, S6. Defense 1 (fails): Black blocks with S7, White ataris the inner group with Q4. Blacks only choice is capturing with t3, then White T2 gives black a connect-and-die. White lives. Defense 2 (fails): Black extends T7 looks weird, and White just follows on the S line until they have enough liberties for a net. Then it's Q4 and kapow, glorious capture.

Now if opponent plays S7, the immediate capture of everything by shortage of liberties doesn't work because of earlier enemy throw-in and hane, but instead we can simply capture the two stones with T7 anyway and there's nothing the opponent can do. ------- I don't understand the Admin response from earlier. Either the problem used to be different, or they meant that it doesn't work for the opponent.
