So I assumed there must be a solution beyond seki which there is not.
caranthir: Well, the seki in this case is contingent, because it's gote to create and also gote to prevent. In an actual game this kind of position would usually be resolved (i.e. live in seki or with points?) only at the endgame. So I'd put this scenario as "black to live at least in seki". Hints are not needed imo.
